The Association of Bloomington-Normal Brewers, affectionately called the ABNormal Brewers is a social club in Bloomington-Normal IL. dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Home Brewing.
Founded in 1989….the Association of Bloomington-Normal Brewers exists to promote the art and craft of home-brewing and the appreciation of fine non-distilled, fermented alcoholic beverages from around the world.
Membership is open to anyone who is age 21 or older. It does not matter if you brew your own or if you just enjoy a great beer, the Association of Bloomington-Normal Brewers welcomes you! For more information on joining the Abnormal Brewers visit our membership page or just show up at one of our regular monthly meetings.
Meetings are held regularly during the year at Fat Jacks, located at 511 North Main Street in downtown Bloomington Illinois, on the second Monday of each month from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Meetings consist of brief announcements followed by an always exciting and informative presentation about a style of beer or a technical aspect of brewing.
